I live in the two-storey flat with the swirling stairs I always dreamt of. It wasn't easy to keep the design coherent on 105 m2 so I opted for minimalism. The pros are that it's easy to keep it clean and tidy which is essential as i'm alergic to dust. I love my white walls and black floors but I'm going to add on more color soon.

My advice is - if you move into your new home buy only the essential stuff, while living in it for a while you'll get to know what exactly you need and what will be the best design choices for you apartment

An item well designed should be practical, comfortable, easy to use and beautiful/ pretty
